Hey Mom, you must Release the Grip
Let’s chat about Spiritual Wellness
As a mom we carry loads of both laundry & responsibilities that we often come to trust in our own abilities, as flawed as they are, more than we should, thinking “If I don’t hold it all together who will?”
We fight so hard and hold on so tightly to keep everything together, it keeps us feeling like we have some control. We grip harder everyday, as God whispers release it to me, you weren’t meant to carry the burdens of your own life, let alone the weight of the world around you. I believe this right here is the most powerful & meaningful first step to living a life of Wellness and it’s often viewed as weakness, but in your weakness, you will find & receive strength from our Heavenly Father.
When we release the grip and give it to Him, we are then open and available to receive the true fulfillment of a life that overflows with hope, peace, salvation & joy and bountiful fruits, we find rest in His stability & strength, something we can never do on our own no matter how many reminders, planners, schedules we keep we must learn to release it to Him daily.
Actionable daily steps:
1. Start your day 15-30 minutes earlier for quiet time, Bible reading, Prayer, journaling how you are releasing the grip today.
2. Include scripture into your daily reminders, screensavers, notes in your car.
3. Create a worship playlist that reminds you to release the grip & cast your cares on Him.
I pray this has opened your grip a little today, to know you are not expected to hold it all together, and that our God is waiting for you to release the grip and allow His strength to carry you today and everyday.
