Unpacking the Clutter in our Minds

Unpacking the clutter in our minds that continue to hold us back from living a healthy & fulfilling life.

Today’s focus is, what we tell ourselves & what we have come to believe is true.

We’ve all said them, actually if you talk with your friends most would nod in agreement and just accept these same beliefs as if they are their own.

I’ll feel more like it tomorrow

I’m too busy to get that done

I’ll have more time next week

I’ll get some easy things done and work my way up to the hard stuff

I can do this all by myself, I know what to do, I just need more time.

These are statements of wishful thinkers, maybe we’d call them procrastinators where all of the hard tasks will be taken care of tomorrow...you know someday, including your wellness. If you believe these and are happy with the outlook of these never going to happen possibilities then you’ll want to stop here! However if you're ready to unpack these almost lies that have cluttered our minds and actions then let’s get to work.

Tomorrow, the word that holds all the accomplishments & promises. We want to start, we want to achieve goals, feel good, energetic and know success. We desire to tackle the new healthy lifestyle routine, to create that quiet space for your mind to think and your soul to breath and you will...tomorrow! See that felt good! You are satisfied with acknowledging the desire, giving it a start and then leaving it alone thinking Ms. motivation will show-up tomorrow. Emotions and goals never align, actually most never feel like starting; however, it’s often somewhere after we start doing it that we meet our friends motivation, momentum, mindset shifts.

Progress fuels motivation...that’s actually great news the more you progress through your actions you are fueling motivation, creativity, passion and will start seeing the fruits of your work and you just busted through the first pile of clutter in your mind that you’ve been tripping over for years. “I’ll feel more like it tomorrow”

Action steps - start before you feel like it and watch what happens!

Today seems way more exciting than someday!
